Guess any Indian street food lover’s favourite dish and samosa is sure to be on the top of their list. Crispy and flaky on the outside and filled with a hearty potato filling on the inside, it is safe to assume that these snacks are one of the finest that the streets of India have to offer! While the classic samosa does enjoy a staunch fan following, it is also this huge fan base that makes samosa one of the most experimented dishes out there. From pasta samosa to chocolate samosa, we have seen enough experiments be done on the humble snack to last us a lifetime. The most recent one on the list is called ‘Japani Samosa’.

For all those who are wondering, neither is the samosa made in Japan nor does it have any Japanese ingredients used in it. In fact, it is the creation of street vendors from the lanes of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. The samosa is extra crispy and is made in the shape of a puff pastry. The dish was bought to the limelight by food blogger Mohit Soni on his Instagram page @chooseyourbite_. The video has garnered 621k views, 21k likes, and 58 comments. Take a look at the video here:

The ‘Japani Samosa’ has intrigued many street food lovers. Some are questioning its name, while some are questioning its preparations. Some of the best comments left on the video are:
