NEW DELHI: In another incident of security breach in Karnataka, a man on Saturday broke the security cordon during PM Modi‘s roadshow in Davanagere and ran towards his convoy.
In a video, police officers and SPG can be seen immediately intercepting the man and halting him before he can reach the convoy.

He was later detained by the police.
Later, Karnataka police said there was no breach in security as such. “It was an unsuccessful attempt. The man was caught immediately by myself and SPG at a safe distance. Appropriate action is being taken in this regard,” Alok Kumar, ADGP, Law & Order, Karnataka said.
Earlier, in January, a similar security breach took place in Karnataka when a young man breached the security cover to offer a garland to PM Modi during a roadshow in Hubballi.
