While political critic Teenmaar Mallanna filed a mandamus writ petition in the high court seeking information about the whereabouts of the chief minister who last appeared in public on June 28.

The Congress has also demanded clarification on the rumours floating around his health.

State Congress Working president Revanth Reddy had sought a detailed health bulletin as it has been more than 10 days that he has not come out of the HSI farmhouse located around 60 Km away from Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, the BJP has welcomed Telangana State Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundarya Rajan’s initiatives in reviewing state government’s measures to tackle the novel coronavirus crisis in the state.

BJP leader Krishna Sagar Rao said: “At a time when CM KCR is missing in action for over 10 days from the frontline management of Covid-19 crisis in the state as the elected head of the state, Governor Tamilisai’s regular interventions have become almost necessary to mitigate the ongoing health crisis in Telangana.”

The BJP alleged that the chief minister and state health minister were not able to ramp up the health infrastructure in the state and failed to regulate the private hospitals who are fleecing Covid-19 patients.

The Opposition party now demands CM KCR to take immediate measures to expand hospital beds, tests and treatment to reduce Covid-19 deaths in the state.

MoS Home and Secunderabad MP Kishan Reddy had earlier took a dig at Chandrasekhar Rao for being missing from action during the coronavirus crisis in the state, and requested the state government to go for mega testing, netizens took to social media trending ‘where is KCR’.
