SRIKAKULAM: A YSRC leader was murdered near Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
Baratam Ramaseshu (52) was vice-president of MPP of Gara and former sarpanch of Srikakulam village and he was associated with various trades.
The miscreants attacked the YSRC leader with knives and some sharp weapons when he was going for a morning walk. Ramaseshu was found dead in a pool of blood on the road with multiple stab injuries.
There were less movement of the people at the time of the incident and the miscreants fled from the spot after resorting the crime.
Srikakulam police chief GR Radhika along with her team visited the spot and she has formed a special team to nab the miscreants. The police are yet to ascertain the exact reasons for the murder of the YSRC leader. Police suspect old enmity behind the brutal murder.
Several YSRC leaders in Srikakulam expressed shock over the incident and requested the police to nab the accused quickly.
The police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
