Action King Arjun, like the rest of the Sarja family, is still coming to terms with the sudden demise of Chiranjeevi Sarja. The Shivarjuna actor passed away on June 7 after suffering a massive heart attack. Arjun was extremely close to his nephew Chiranjeevi and was inconsolable during his last rites.

Chiranjeevi’s younger brother Dhruva Sarja took to Instagram to share a video with audio by Arjun Sarja. In the video, we can see pictures of Chiranjeevi with the rest of the Sarja family. Arjun bid farewell to his favourite nephew and said that he misses him so much.

Dhruva Sarja shared the video and wrote, “Anna Love you forever my world (sic).”

Here’s the post:

In the video, Arjun spoke his heart out and said, “My young son, if you were upset or angry and had gone away for a couple of days, it would have been different. But, you’ve gone to a place where there is no return and have punished us all. Whenever I close my eyes all I can see is your smiling face. If you think that we will forget you in a few days, it is not true. Your death has wounded us in a way that it would never heal. You will remain in our hearts forever.”

He further added, “Your grandfather named you Chiranjeevi (immortal), and it will remain true. Your words, smile, memories and our bond will remain immortal. Chiru, everyone tells us that God should give us the courage to bear this loss. But, this lies in your hands.”

Arjun expressed his wish to see his nephew in his child. “Please return to us in the form of your child. We will find your reflection in the smile of the newborn. Please. Chiru, we love you so much. We will always miss you and you will remain in our memories. Yours lovingly, your family and your fans,” he signed off.

Chirnajeevi’s actress-wife Meghana Raj is three months pregnant.

Chiranjeevi Sarja’s untimely demise is a huge loss to the Kannada film industry. Around four movies starring him are at different stages of production. He was last seen in Shivarjuna, which was pulled out of the theatres due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
