Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot lashes out at PM Modi, Amit Shah on social media

Rajasthan Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home minister Amit Shah. Gehlot claimed that PM Modi and Shah’s insecurities and fear is evident because only Congress -under Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi- have the courage and strength to take on the current regime.

Gehlot, not mincing words in a post on social media site Facebook, said,

“I am not surprised to see that out of all opposition parties Mr Modi and Amit Shah are worried only about Congress. Their insecurities & fear is evident because everyone knows including Mr Shah that only Congress under the leadership of HCP Soniaji and Rahulji have the courage and strength to take on the tyranny of the current regime.

It is no secret that for last three decades’ no one from the Gandhi family has held any position of power. They have always encouraged & empowered the cadre and ground worker of Congress party like me and if at all we are disconnected with public, why is Mr. Shah so worried?

It is the Congress party which has built, protected and nourished the democracy of this nation. India is the only robustly functioning and flourishing democracy in South Asian Region. Thanks to the magnanimous role played by Congress party in the 70 years of history of this Nation.”

Accusing the BJP of dismantling democratic, ethnic and social fabric of the country, Gehlot further said:

“It has merely been 6 years of BJP and we can see how they have dismantled the democratic, ethnic and social fabric of this nation. May we know why there is no one beyond Modi- Shah in BJP? It is shocking that apart from 3/4 Ministers Public does not even know who all are there in Modi’s cabinet.

Mr Amit Shah along with Mr Modi has high-jacked the BJP and NDA government with no breather for other leaders. They are not fit to question democratic values of Congress Party and CWC.
As Mr Advani once said in 2015 ” Forces that can crush democracy are strongerI don’t have the confidence it (Emergency) cannot happen again”
