Alex Jones’s Infowars Files for Bankruptcy Over Sandy Hook Lawsuits
Infowars and other media assets backed by far-right radio host Alex Jones filed for bankruptcy, opening a new front in his legal fight with families of Sandy Hook victims after he was found liable for falsely claiming the 2012 shooting was a hoax.
Mr. Jones has ceded his far-right website and media company to outside administrators, who placed the holding companies for its copyrights and web domains under chapter 11 protection to halt pending litigation and try to resolve the legal claims against him.
