Covid-19: Uttar Pradesh reports 762 new infections, total 6,730 active cases in state

Noida, with 136 cases of Covid-19, followed by 89 in Ghaziabad and 52 in Lucknow, has reported the maximum infections in the state on Friday.

Uttar Pradesh on Friday reported 762 new cases of coronavirus, after which, the state’s active case tally mounted to 6,730.

Noida, with 136 cases of Covid-19, followed by 89 in Ghaziabad and 52 in Lucknow, has reported the maximum infections in the state on Friday.

As many as 464 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on Friday, taking the total number of cured cases in the state to 13,583. The state now has 6,730 active cases of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh has reported 630 coronavirus-related deaths so far, including 19 reported on Friday.

Noida, with 887 active cases of Covid-19, is now the worst-hit district in the state, followed by Ghaziabad (648 cases), Lucknow, (383 cases) and Kanpur (325 cases).
