Now we need to add the chicken and allow it to cook for a few minutes. Once done, it’s time to add the gongura leaves along with green chillies, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well. Next, add the rinsed and soaked rice and stir well to coat it with all the masalas. Add water and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot! Your gongura kodi pulao is ready to be savoured.
