Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain fame Saumya Tandon took to her Instagram account today (April 10) and sought help from fans and well-wishers for actor Vibhu Raghave, who is suffering from Colon cancer.

It also happens to be Vibhu’s birthday. Saumya wished him in his post and wrote, “Happy Bday my dearest loveliest @vibhuzinsta. The brightest smile and most delicate and comforting presence he has had in our lives.”

She then informed fans that Vibhu is suffering from Cancer that’s in its last stages. She added they are doing their best to give him a proper treatment and are raising funds as well. She shared a link with her followers where they could contribute as well,

Saumya added in her note, “Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, aka Vibhu, is suffering from a rare and aggressive type of Colon cancer in its last stage, and is undergoing treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai His positivity and courage is inspiring to me. We all are trying to do the best we can to give him the best treatment, and we are all raising funds too. You can also help him.”

Vibhu, who has done television shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins and Savdhaan India, first broke the news of being detected with cancer in February. His post was flooded with good wishes from friends in the industry and his followers.

Later, the actor in an interview with TOI, shared how his friends have given him immense support.

He said, “Mohit Malik, his wife Aditi, Simple Kaul, who was the first one to know about my cancer, and Saumya Tandon have been with me throughout. From day one, I didn’t have to take a doctor’s appointment, I didn’t have to get my medicines, I didn’t have to drive to any doctor, basically, I didn’t have to do anything.”

He added, “We have this Whatsapp group, where all my reports and next steps for the line of treatment are posted and then a collective decision is taken by all. I don’t have to take the burden to even make that decision.”
