Start by either boiling or pressure cooking matar until it is soft and mushy, add salt and ginger to this. Once soft, mash and mix with besan which will act as the binding agent. Make tikkis out of the mix and fry them. Once fried, mash these tikkis and garnish with other ingredients like curd, dried spices, chutneys and coriander leaves.
