‘Yaaron Dosti’ fame singer KK passes away at 53; Rahul Vaidya says ‘Beyond shocked’ – Times of India

Popular Bollywood singer KK is no more. The singer fell sick while performing at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata and was declared dead after he was brought to the hospital. Bigg Boss 14’s Rahul Vaidya is beyond shocked after listening to the heartbreaking news. He tweeted about the sudden demise of the legendary singer.

Rahul took to his twitter account and expressed his shock. He tweeted, “I hear singer KK just passed away. GOD what is really happening!!?? I mean WHAT IS HAPPENING. One of the nicest humans kk sir was. Gone too soon at 53.Beyond shocked. RIP sir.”

He further tweeted and stated that KK never smoked or drank and led a very simple life.

He wrote, “Singer KK never smoked or drank! Led the most simple non controversial non media hyped life. Complete family man. Jab bhi mujhe mile he met with so much of love & kindness. God! Too unfair! OM SHANTI.”

Rahul also shared how KK was responsible in brining about a change in the sound of Indian film music.

Gautam Rode, Aly Goni, Rashami Desai, Roop Durgapal and others also reacted to the tragic news.

KK also judged a few reality shows during his career. He was a judge on Indian Idol Junior Season 2 and Fame Gurukul and has worked with some of the biggest music composers of the industry like AR Rahman, Vishal-Shekhar, Salim-Sulaiman, Ismail Darbar amongst others.

KK also known as Krishnakumar Kunnath is the name behind the friendship anthem ‘Yaaron Dosti Badi hi haseen Hai’. He also sang some of the chartbuster songs like “Khuda Jaane”, “Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar”, “Make Some Noise for the Desi Boyz”, “Ajab Si”, “Sach Kehraha Hai Deewana”.
